How we grade games and consoles, and what each condition means for your offer. Grade honestly - accurate descriptions keep your payout exactly as quoted.
The four conditions we buy
When you add an item to your sell list you pick one of these. Choose the one that best matches what you actually have.
What raises & lowers value
Helps the offer
- Original box, manual and any inserts present and clean
- Bright, undamaged labels and artwork (no sun-fade)
- Discs free of deep scratches; carts with working save batteries
- Matching region (see below) and original - not reproduction - copies
Reduces the offer
- Water damage, mould, smoke smell or heavy wear to boxes
- Missing/incorrect manuals or inserts on a "with manual" listing
- Sticker residue, marker, or rental/library markings
- Reproduction boxes/labels, or repro carts (we buy originals only)
Regions we accept
Prices differ by region, so make sure you pick the right one when adding an item.
PAL UK / Europe / Australia releases.
NTSC-U North American releases.
NTSC-J Japanese releases (Famicom, Super Famicom, etc.).
Honest grading, no surprises
The price you see is based on the condition you choose. When your items arrive we give them a quick check against your list. If everything matches, you get paid exactly the quoted amount. If something is graded differently, we will contact you with a revised offer first - you are never under any obligation to accept it.
